Many parents aren’t aware that listening is a learned skill. Help your child learn to listen with Eardrop the bunny and Sounds of the Country.
Sounds of the Country is a twenty seven minute adventure around the farm. Eardrops the bunny teams up with his friend The Farmer and together they walk around feeding the various animals and doing the farm chores, like chopping wood. Sounds of the Country includes listening cues to help your children focus on learning to listen.
Most educational media for children focuses on visual learning. While visual learning is important, learning to listen is an important life skill! Sounds of the Country is a great alternative to television for kids and it’s a great way for busy parents to help kids learn without relying on books.
Sounds of the Country is recommended for preschool children aged 1-4. The CD comes with a booklet.
Along with the rest of Eardrop’s Journey’s, Sounds of the Country was developed and recorded in New Zealand. The CDs were developed with a team of educators (including a Speech Language Therapist, Early Childhood Teacher, and Early Intervention Teacher) in line with the New Zealand Early Childhood Curriculum.
